STIL GIN BRANDING
Gin branding & label work for STIL DISTILLERY.
A small start up business based in Newquay Cornwall.
It was decided early on that the style was going to be very minimal and which would work across a variety of bottle shapes. The vibrant two colour scheme was chosen for greater contrast visually against the usually muted tones of most gin brands. The front and back label also incorporate a tamper free label that is used on the cork this serves also as the batch/bottle number label which is handwritten on.
STILL GIN
BRANDING
I was commissioned by STIL DISTILLERY of Newquay, Cornwall, a small startup business, to design the branding for their new gin.
It was felt early on that the look was going to be very minimal and which would work across a variety of bottle shapes.
The teardrop device is reminiscent of the shape of copper still's which are used to distill alcohol. The hand drawn lettering represents the organic shapes of the botanicals used.
A vibrant and contemporary two colour design ensured the label would stand out against the predominately muted colours and vintage inspired design of most gin brands.
